All orders are considered final, but we will accept returns in exchange for store credit or a replacement of the same purchased item in certain cases of gross damage during shipping (when a book is damaged to the point of disrupting or distracting the reading experience).
Basic shipping is sent by USPS Media Mail which is not always the most delicately handled by postal carriers. While we strive to pack them well, there is nothing we can do to keep packages 100% damage proof, particularly if your order contains multiple books.
We highly recommend choosing a more secure shipping method if you are concerned about the condition your books will arrive in!
If you elect to ship by Media Mail, we cannot offer replacements for simple dinged corners or spines.
If you feel an item is unreasonably damaged, please contact us, preferably with photos of the damaged item and packaging so we can improve our process. If the item is grossly damaged, we'll get a new copy out to you right away! If the damage is only cosmetic and minor (corner dings, etc), we may offer you a refund in store credit instead, to save on additional cost and risk of sending a replacement.
