DESCRIPTION

Encouraged by the success of the LOVE series, Fred and Fed wanted to come up with a simpler companion series aimed at younger readers. In 2014 they debuted Les Petites Histoires, a series of picture books for children following a little puppy and his squirrel friend as they traveled to different natural settings to tour the fascinating wildlife. The combination of cute comic strip antics offset by beautiful paintings of the animals in question proved to be a favorite of children around the world, leading to six volumes to date.

The series made its English language debut in 2016 as LITTLE TAILS (a clever variation of "little tales (stories)" -- the direct translation of Les Petites Histoires) featuring the same adorable duo, now named Chipper and Squizzo. In 2018, LITTLE TALES IN THE SAVANNAH was nominated for an Eisner Award for Best Publication for Kids.

This limited edition box set features artwork by Federico Bertolucci and a 16-page activity book. Only 200 sets were produced.
